Flint Academy Mission Statement

"The mission of The Flint Academy is to provide an
education in the classical tradition for all students regardless of their
learning needs, integrated with a Christian worldview, having the Scriptures at
the center, and presented in a family oriented, nurturing environment."

January 28th-31st

History/ Bible
In History, we will read and take a test over The Mongols Devastate the East. In Bible, we will make a religious scene out of stained glass.

Hiedi/ Language Arts
We will read Chapter 15 of Heidi, add to our scenery book, and learn about abbreviations.

Art/Nature Study
In Art, we will draw an autumn tree using different textures. In Nature Study, we will weed our garden and visit the nature room on Thursday.

** Please bring in a shoebox or cereal box for your child by Feb 11th. We will use these to create Valentine’s Day boxes!
