Flint Academy Mission Statement

"The mission of The Flint Academy is to provide an
education in the classical tradition for all students regardless of their
learning needs, integrated with a Christian worldview, having the Scriptures at
the center, and presented in a family oriented, nurturing environment."

December 3rd-6th

This week…
In History, we will read A New Kind of King. Students will work together to build a large model of Da Vinci’s catapult and their own mini version as well. In Bible, we will read and narrate The Christmas Story. In Nature Study, we will sketch poinsettias in our nature journal. We will continue practicing our poems and add handmade bulbs and stockings to our classroom décor!

Santa Store
Please return the order forms for Santa’s Store. Students will go to the store either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Christmas Party
Our Christmas Party will be on Thursday. The food sign-up sheet is in Ms. Long’s room. We will be joining their class for lunch. Afterwards, we will watch the Polar Express and decorate cookies!
